I was only able to stay for a few songs of Urbanite’s set, so I can’t say much about the show… however, if you like laid back Muse-ish type music, you should check them out!

Shooting Notes
Shooting the Urbanite’s set was much the same as Cavalry’s set, with a few important differences. First of all, the Urbanites didn’t move around as much, so it was a bit easier to sit with the shot composed, and just wait for the lights to change. Secondly, there was much more blue in the light mix, rather than the red that present for Cavalry, which made the Urbanite’s shoot a little easier.
One thing I do want to mention is that I love how large pedal boards appear with a wide angle lens. I think they provide a really interesting element to the bottom of the frame, and as you can see the pictures, I definitely utilized it in this quick set.
As usual, shot the set with two 5D2s and the 16-35mm f/2.8 and 24-70mm f/2.8, but the vast majority of the shots were with the 16-35mm.
